To first create the app we first made teams. My team consisted of Jason, Hikaru, and Damian. Our idea involved  updating antiquated websites which students use to keep track of their academic success and it would be named "Schooly". We assigned roles, there would be a lead programmer, designer and editor, and head of the team. We worked on our project for a total of 2 weeks, both in and out of school and with this improved communication skills which is very beneficial to any web designer. Lab 2 Reflection

Image
Jhoan Alexander WCP Lab 2 Reflection In my Web Client Programming ( WCP ) class, we conducted a lab 2 involving the use of jQuery within our website. jQuery is a javascript library, so it's embedded with javascript which I'm familiar with but since its commands were different like involving $ I faced difficulty. To be able to use jQuery it first needed to be copied from online then made into a document which we then needed to link in order to work. Once that was done lab 2 was constructed, we needed to include buttons that showed a prompt, alert, text, and confirm alert. The easiest one by far was the alert button it was so easy to do and involved little code. The hardest and most difficult was the text button, it need to display text when clicked and that I had to use help from online, and from my peer. Once the trouble was gone I was done with my lab 2 and it came out very intriguing and simple, and allowed me to strengthen my javascript code.

Lab 1 Reflection

Jhoan Alexander WCP Lab 1 Reflection My Lab 1 In my Web Client Programming( WCP ) class we were given the duty of making a homepage that was labelled as our first lab. My peers and I are accustom to making websites and this one in particular was an easy task involving the creation of our WCP homepage, but like with every task there's complications, such as with my image in my website. My image didn't maintain its size when it was being moved depending on screen size, I found trouble in making it stick to a specific size and was able to fix its issue and move on with simple CSS code.  My lab consisted if HTML code and an external CSS code to maintain a clean document, overall it was an easy lab to start of the year and my website didn't come off too bad, and of course I can always improve with the use of code and that's the real beauty of making websites.
