GAMES FOR CHANGE (GAME) REFLECTION

Image
Jhoan Muy AP CSP / Digital Design 04/17/19 For the past week in my AP Computer Sciences Principle class my team, DATWA worked on making a game based on a theme of choice. We choose year 2050 and based the game on a space shooter game because Moores Law states computer power is set to keep doubling over the years. So we believed that by year 2050 the ability to travel to space will be available and that's when we set our goal to making the game using Unity and help from online since it was our first time using unity we were able to make the game. Every group member had an individual job and at the end of the day the game came out well with still some technical difficulties which we are set to complete soon before the deadline of the GamesForChange submission.

LAB 20 Reflection

Image
Jhoan Muy AP CSP / Digital Design 04/09/19 LAB 20 Lab 20 was conducted in my AP Computer Science Principles class, it required the use of an HTML document which in it had java script code for the input of two numbers and then compared. Mainly using if statements was needed in this lab. As shown in the picture you can see if both numbers are equal it is displayed as equal and that was basically the whole lab using javascript and comparing numbers. Overall an easy lab which I enjoyed since it required the use of java script which I'm slowly getting used to and see myself using it in many future labs and or projects.

Another simple lab which is similar to the previous one from having the user have the freedom of choosing two numbers now only one. It involved...

It seemed hard at first but with a representation of a previous students work provided by our teacher the whole class went on to make the lab. In the script code was the man space which made everything work and connecting the buttons to do the job which was simple code of using onevents and making functions to add, subtract, m...

CS Fair Reflection

Image
Jhoan Muy 04/02/19 AP Computer Science Principles Today at the Armory Track, my web design class and I went and attended the annual CS fair. There was various schools all enjoying the fair which had companies and students present their work in the computer science field, such as some students in my web design academy. I went around and I talked and got information over what exactly those businesses do as well as advice for the future. I was able to try out a virtual reality realm which was awesome. It was my first time at the CS Fair and I'm sure I'd like to go next year there was prizes a bunch of activities a lot to do there. Overall a good field trip in which I was able to meet a CTE requirement and enjoy the fair and learn throughout the day.
