11/29/17   On the 28th of November the visual design class went on a trip to the metropolitan museum in Manhattan. In this trip we went through their galleries and explored a bit the meaning and significance of art. Their was a huge selection of art and we were bale to see and think on our own a type of art we can create in the future that applies to everyone equally. I took photos of various types of art one from circles to create a mage of a man to one of paint being all over the place all serve a significance not mistake is taken it is purified to be made better to the audience.  Art is amazing all serving a meaning and with this knowledge  will use it to create my own logo I have already thought of ideas and now I can make it come a reality with the knowledge I'm acquiring this year. I am striving to create something that appeals to all and looks very nice with my touch in it the trip to the museum was amazing and I'd like to go on future trips to other various muse...

         In visual design class we conducted a lab in which we used 5 different pictures and each had to deal with adding different things to them such as  the magic eraser tool, the blur tool, the dodge tool, the burn tool, the sponge tool, paint bucket tool and gradient tool. The blur tools adds blur to a specific part you add it to. The gradient tool adds color to your specific place.The paint bucket tool adds color to your specific place too. The sponge tool adds a gloomy color provides  contrast. The magic eraser tool you use to erase any mistake you've done with the tool you used earlier. The dodge tool provides more brightness, the burn tool provides shadow meaning a bit more darker.   The blending mode it allows a bending of color. This was used for the last picture of a skyline. In class we conducted Project #2 in which we choose our hero mine was Cristiano Ronaldo a soccer player that plays for Real Madrid FC and we choose one of their inspirational quotes I choose "your love makes me strong your hate makes me unstoppable" it really touched me and that why I choose it. One part of the project dealt with cutting it out using the magnetic lasso tool. Then we had to add a work path to it and add text, within the text we added our inspirational quote. Then added a background color. The second part had to do with using the magnetic lasso also to then delete it and within it add pictures that represent the person like for Ronaldo I added a trophy he won. Then add their inspirational quote to it. Overall we used the magnetic lasso tool, the text tool, and added a work path to it basically in this project.     In class we conducted a lab in which we used our first name and added a layer style to it it was at our power to choose anyone we want and repeat that 6 times. I added different layers to each one there was a big number in types of layers you can add and I chose my favorites.I was hoping it to be unique and had my favorite color which was red. First we used the text tool then added a layer style to it such as texture, glow, and many more. Overall this was a fun lab in which we learned how to add more style to certain writings and can prepare us in the future by us creating our own kind of logo to represent.

                 Lab 7 was conducted and had to do with the adding of filters to your lab.  First we used a photo of ourselves and added a filter to it. We were given the freedom to add any type of filter it. And then for the next 5 Photos we used any type of picture that we liked. Then of each of them we added a filter all having be different. Then used the text tool to add text to it. For each photo I used a different filter it was at my hands to pick any type of filter. Lastly we added a filter to our background and I used the cloud filter in this case and a yellow color to better enhance the view of my lab. Overall this was a easy lab which we learned how to use and add filters to photos.

      In visual design class we conducted a lab in which we first drew a painting then it was scanned and then for lab 6 we used photoshop an its shapes to better enhance the drawing. For lab 5 we just used the brush tool to apply color to it and better develop the drawing. It was a complicated task but I managed to overcome problems such as how to color in in just in a specific place but then I realized I can use to quick selection tool and it helped me complete my project earlier and color only where I chose too, I had completed the task with satisfaction of my drawing. As you can see below is what first I drew and then below it shows what came to be my end product. Lab 5 was fun it was a lot of work but at the end of the day I learned and better enhanced my knowledge on how too best use the brush tool and prepare me for the future.

              Lab 6 was conducted using the photoshop program and it had to do with first drawing a painting then it being scanned and then working on it using only shapes that are applied to you in the photoshop program. It was a long task getting your preferred shapes because of the abundance of shapes then adding it to you drawing but at the end it came out good and I was happy with what I made my new product looked better more defined and I felt a feel of satisfaction over what  have created it wasn't easy I had problems with how to adjust the shape how to rotate it horizontally but I managed to overcome that and complete my task. Below you see the before and after product of my lab. Lab 6 was amazing getting to pick what you want to develop your drawing and I had a lot of fun with it.
