10/29/17    In Visual Design class we conducted a project "Warhol" in which we used ourselves to then make replicas and adjust color such as hue and saturation. As you can see below it is me I cropped only myself using the magnetic lasso in which I took a lot of time in and then made replicas. I gave them a background I used the color wheel chart to see which colors best go together to enhance my project. I  added color to myself to such as in Andy Warhol's famous paintings I gave it a lot of color to really pop out and look fascinating. I used the crop to also to adjust my size then made 3 replicas and enhanced the hue and saturation to my preference. These skills in which we can create something out  nothing is important to a web designer because we are being able to add color and details to something and creating something good that appeases all audiences such as creating a web page with good colors that pleases people and looking good. Andy Warhol was a famous American Artist. He was a leading figure in the visual art movement(pop art). He was famous also for providing the world with a new sense of style in art. Personally I wouldn’t by his work because I am a more simple type of person that will stick with simple art of like a person or figure rather then all different types of colors on one painting it just doesn’t fit my personality also he had one famous painting the Campbell soup which was really absurd to me and I didn’t really get the point of it but it was considered art.   Warhol’s art reminds me of sort of a child type of art with all different types of vibrantes all over the place and a weird sort of influence such as I wonder where the Campbell soup painting was influenced from.   The association with his painting is unpleasant for me not in a bad way but I personally didn’t find his work really uplifting and changing I found it just like another’s work of art and his art was really absurd...

10/17/17 Lab 4 Reflection: Melon Head  Lab 4 had us use photoshop to crop parts or fruits such as a melon, blue berry, more to create a image of a person which we then called it a melon head. We used tools use as the magnetic lasso that allowed us to crop certain parts to better enhance our project. We used text to give it our details like our name class date. We used a variation of tools and used the outline and used the video that Ms. Ramirez gave us to apply to our project.  It was a individual project in which we mainly did it by ourselves and used the outline to do it. The Melon Head project was a good representation of work in which we will be given work to do and by a deadline and only ourselves to do it to best of our ability. Overall it was a nice project that allowed me to get a little more custom to more tools that photoshop has to offer and I'm glad with my project. This project was really a bit more complex and a great and fun project.

10/10/17 Today in class we completed the assignment of using photoshop to crop an image and make copies then applying different elements to them like a different type of color to the duplicate. We had the chance to make the image black and white also apply a high cue, low cue,high saturation, low saturation alongside with any other type of elements you want to apply.  I learned to use more tools such as the magnetic laso to crop images.  We used photoshop to crop a image and duplicate and add color or any type of vibrance to it.

10/12/17        Yesterday and today we conducted a lab (#3) in which we used a copy of a color then duplicate it into 4 other ones using the application photoshop. Then we added image adjustments to them such as saturation,black and white, hue, and even replace the color. I learned to use tools that adjust the color to an image.as you can see below that is the pic of my work that I've conducted over the last two days. I added text to my lab.  This was the overall work involved in lab 3.

Jhoan Muy Lab 1 10/4/17 First I completed the assignment in which used the cameras that were given to use by Mrs.Ramirez to take a variety of pictures from  a walk in our neighborhood,park etc. In a variety of different camera angles. Once done with this we used the Photoshop application to better enhance our photos with a change in size and adding of a text under it specifying the camera angle that was used to obtain this picture. As you can see the first visual was taken at a eye level. And it was then named under it its camera angle. Throughout this lab we learned to use certain tools in the Photoshop application such as text, crop ,and adding of a background I completed this assignment to the best of my ability but I could have done better but for my first assignment with the use of photoshop I believe I did my best and I am happy with the outcome.
